Culture and Pints

Today we did the National British Museum and saw one of the four surviving copies of the Magna Carta:


Afterwards we went over to the British Museum. The Brits were quite good at wandering into ancient civilizations and returning stuff back to their museum :) The coolest things there were the Rosetta Stone and a whole bunch of statues from the original Parthenon:


Afterwards we hit up the Tower of London, which served as a prison for many famous people, and was the execution site of many more - the most famous of which were probably Henry VIII's wives.





Calling it an early night as I have to catch a cab at 7AM to get me to the airport to fly out to Sicily in the morning. Until next time!
